ENGINEER

Engineers manage projects from concept through completion byapplying technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. They design, test andrefine systems or products while ensuring work meets safety, quality andperformance standards.

Common duties include:

• Identifying technical challenges and defining requirements for solutions
• Developing detailed blueprints, models or code to support project designs
• Building prototypes or early versions of products to test functionality
• Running performance tests under real-world conditions and refining designs as needed
• Creating project timelines, estimating costs and coordinating across teams to keep work on track
• Preparing technical reports, manuals and design specifications for all collaborators
• Applying industry standards, safety codes and regulatory requirements to all engineering work
