ENGINEER – ELECTRICAL (Commercial)

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong site coordination and problem-solving skills to support customer requirements on-site.

• Apply engineering knowledge and understanding of building services codes of practice to ensure proper design and execution.

• Ensure quality of materials and installation work by suppliers and subcontractors in accordance with ISO quality standards.

• Coordinate, monitor, and control materials, equipment, and subcontractor installation quality on site.

• Prepare shop drawings and manage coordination drawings for project execution.

• Develop work schedules and participate in client and internal meetings.

• Support the manager in daily site operations, including planning, quality control, safety, and progress monitoring in line with the master schedule.

• Coordinate effectively with main contractors to prevent rework and ensure smooth project execution.

• Manage site materials and equipment to minimize wastage.

• Communicate closely with suppliers and subcontractors to reduce delays and ensure timely project progress.

• Inspect and identify non-conformance in materials or installation to prevent defects.

• Explore and implement new technologies and installation methods to improve productivity.

• Monitor site progress closely and ensure clear communication with subcontractors and suppliers.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 3–5 years of relevant experience in a contractor environment.

• Knowledge of ISO standards including ISO 9000, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.

• Possession of ISO Internal Quality Auditor certification.

• Completion of Building Construction Safety Supervisor (BCSS) course.
