Engineering Manager (Fluid Systems/ West)

Responsibilities

·               Partner withSales to understand customer requirements and ensure successful projectexecution and customer satisfaction.

·               Lead, coach,mentor, and develop Project Engineers and Drafters to strengthen technicalcapability, customer engagement, and overall team performance.

·               Provide directengineering guidance and technical problem-solving support for Custom Solutionsprojects and liaise with customers to resolve issues and implement improvementsfor recurring concerns.

·               Review andapprove engineering documentation, technical deliverables, materialrequisitions, procurement requirements, and project-related records.

·               Ensure allengineering activities comply with the Swagelok Quality System (SQS), companypolicies, customer specifications, and applicable regulatory requirements.

·               Act as theprimary escalation point for technical, project, and customer-related issues,ensuring timely resolution and effective stakeholder communication.

·               During periods ofhigh workload or resource constraints, step in to perform engineering workdirectly to support delivery commitments and maintain operationaleffectiveness.

·               Drive quality andcontinuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with QA/QC to strengthenengineering processes and deliver consistent outcomes.

Requirements

·               Degree inMechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline.

·               Possess at least10 years of relevant experience in Engineering, Custom Design or Project basedwork.

·               Minimum 2–3 yearsof people management or team leadership experience.

·               Strongunderstanding of engineering project execution, engineering documentation,procurement processes, testing, and commissioning activities.
