ENGINEERING MANAGER (JAPANESE SPEAKING)

The Engineer Manager leads the engineering/quality team, sets technical direction, manages resources, and ensures high-quality customer support for semiconductor memory products.

Job Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert for customers and business partners by providing product demonstrations, addressing technical enquiries, and recommending suitable storage solutions.

• Lead local technical marketing initiatives, including planning promotional activities, developing technical content, and supporting product positioning strategies.

• Support go-to-market activities by working closely with the sales team to promote SSD and storage solutions through customer events, technical workshops, seminars, and product presentations.

• Lead and mentor team members, drive continuous improvement in technical support, and lead networking and relationship-building efforts with key strategic stakeholders.

• Collaborates with cross-functional departments to integrate systems, supports data-driven decision-making, and ensures compliance with industry standard.

Skill and Experience

• Degree in Engineering or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.

• Relevant experience in technical marketing, field application engineering, pre-sales engineering, or product engineering within the semiconductor industry is preferred.

• Good knowledge of semiconductor products, with the ability to provide practical customer solutions and explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and project management skills.

• High proficiency in Japanese language is required to communicate and negotiate effectively with Japan HQ and other Japan-based stakeholders.
