Engineering Simulation Engineer

Job Summary

The Engineering Analysis Engineer is responsible forperforming simulations, analysis, and engineering evaluations using ANSYSsoftware to support product development. The role involves conductingstructural, thermal, and other engineering simulations to ensure productperformance, reliability, and compliance with technical requirements. The rolealso requires hands-on measurements (static, vibrational, and thermal) tovalidate simulation results.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform engineering simulations and analysis using ANSYS software, including structural, thermal, vibration, and related studies.
• Develop simulation models, conduct analysis, and interpret results to support product design and development.
• Work closely with Design, R&D, Manufacturing, and Project teams to optimise product performance and reliability.
• Validate simulation results through testing, calculations, and engineering measurements.
• Prepare technical reports, simulation documentation, and engineering recommendations.
• Analyse engineering problems and propose effective design improvements and solutions.
• Support prototype evaluation, failure analysis, and root cause investigations.
• Ensure simulation activities are completed within project schedules and technical requirements.
• Maintain and improve simulation methodologies, standards, and best practices.
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams regarding simulation and analysis matters.
• Keep up to date with ANSYS software developments and engineering technologies.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in hands-on engineering simulation and analysis using ANSYS software.
• Strong knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and engineering principles.
• Proficient in ANSYS Mechanical, and related ANSYS modules.
• Experience in product development, simulation validation, and engineering analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience in manufacturing, automation, semiconductor, or industrial industries will be an advantage.
• Some hands-on experience in mechanical design using Solidworks will be an advantage.
