Role Summary
As our company continues to expand its engineering operations, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to oversee engineering operations, business development, administration, and project support. The Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of daily operations while developing scalable systems, strengthening operational efficiency, and supporting the company’s long-term growth and expansion in the engineering industry.
Key Responsibilities
1. Engineering Operations & Project Management
Plan, coordinate, and supervise project execution to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and according to client requirements.
Monitor project schedules, manpower allocation, materials, equipment, and productivity to meet operational targets.
Review technical drawings, project specifications, work procedures, and site requirements.
Ensure all engineering activities comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and client requirements.
Support troubleshooting, repair planning, and technical problem-solving during project execution.
2. Business Development & Client Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Prepare quotations, tenders, costing, and project proposals to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
Coordinate with customers regarding project schedules, technical requirements, and service support.
Identify new market opportunities and support company expansion plans.
3. Workshop, Site & Resource Management
Manage machinery, tools, lifting equipment, and engineering resources effectively.
Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services when required.
Ensure proper maintenance and inspection of company equipment and machinery.
Monitor inventory and material usage to minimize wastage and control costs.
4. Safety, Quality & Compliance
Conduct toolbox meetings, risk assessments, and safe work procedure implementation.
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure proper use of PPE at all times.
Monitor quality control and ensure all works meet client specifications and standards.
Support audits, inspections, and documentation requirements from clients and authorities.
5. Team Leadership & Workforce Development
Provide technical guidance, training, and performance monitoring to employees.
Support manpower planning, recruitment, and workforce development to meet operational needs.
Foster teamwork, discipline, and continuous improvement within the organization.
