Engineering Technician

Overall job objectives

·       Perform Calibration,Inspection, Servicing & Maintenance of after-sales products.

·       Carry out after-sales services and engineering tasks , including installation and troubleshooting.

Core responsibilities

·       Support the Sales team in engineering projects.

·       Prepare technical drawings.

·       Source and procure materials required for engineering projects (such as bolts, nuts, paints, etc)

·       Conduct site surveys.

·       Perform general mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) installation works.

·       Carry out equipment inspection, repair, calibration, and maintenance works.

·       Conduct hands-on training for end-users.

·       Perform gas detector servicing, maintenance, calibration, and testing.

·       Ensure all servicing and maintenance activities are properly scheduled and prepared in advance.

·       Recommend, procure, and maintain workshop tools & equipment.

·       Clean and maintain the workshop before the end of each working day.

·       Observe and comply with all safety procedures at all times while carrying out assigned duties.

·       Prepare and submit service reports upon completion of servicing work.

·       Provide regular updates and escalate issues to the Team Leader/ supervisor.

·       Provide operational support, including delivery planning and serving as a delivery driver when required.

·       Perform general maintenance of the Company's facilities.

·       Assist with departmental administrative duties.

·       Carry out any otherad-hoc duties assigned by the Manager.

Job requirements

·       GCE ‘N’ level or ‘O’level qualification

·       Minimum NTC 2 Trade Certificate in Electrical or Electronics.

·       Possess relevant MOM workplace safety certificates

·       Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience in a similar engineering field.

·       Possess a valid Class3 driving license

·       Computer literate

·       Good interpersonal and communication skills.

·       Initiative, able to work independently, hardworking and a strong team player.
