Engineering Test Technician - HJ

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up and perform engineering tests according to approved test procedures and specifications.
• Operate environmental chambers, vibration systems, electrical test equipment, and data acquisition systems.
• Prepare test samples, fixtures, and supporting documentation before test execution.
• Monitor test progress and record test data accurately.
• Assist engineers in conducting product validation, reliability, qualification, and failure analysis activities.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment, test setups, and fixture-related issues.
• Perform routine calibration coordination and preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and safety standards within the test laboratory.
• Prepare test reports, logs, and supporting documentation.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and engineering investigations.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and engineering teams on test-related activities.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, customer requirements, and applicable industry standards.

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related disciplines.
• Min. 1 year of experience in a test laboratory, manufacturing, or engineering environment preferred.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply.
• Knowledge of engineering test methodologies and laboratory practices.
• Familiarity with environmental testing, reliability testing, or product qualification activities is an advantage.
• Ability to operate test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and data loggers.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
