Equipment Maintenance Technician

ALG is seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our client's Plant Facilities team. The role focuses on maintaining production equipment and plant facilities, ensuring smooth operations and optimal performance.

This is a 1 year contract role with high likelihood of extension or conversion to permanent.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain and implement a preventive maintenance program for all production equipment and plant facilities.
• Fabricate jigs and fixtures to support manufacturing processes.
• Address maintenance and repair requests from various departments.
• Log and track maintenance work orders, TPM downtime, compressor operation hours, hot work permits, and equipment checklists.
• Oversee daily start-up of production and facilities machinery.
• Ensure upkeep of facility services, including air conditioning, sprinkler systems, plumbing, power, and lighting.
• Perform scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
• Conduct weekly Single Point Training sessions for production operators.

Job Requirements

• Trade certificate, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Relevant experience in machinery and equipment repair and maintenance.
• Location: Joo Koon (🚍 2-way company transport provided from West side and parts of the North)
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday from 7.40am - 5.00pm
