Estimator (Electrical)

We are seeking an attentive Estimator with a keen eye for detail to join our Estimation Team. This role will work closely with internal teams and departments to ensure accurate estimations for all projects.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates for project enquiries from the single line diagrams, layout, control diagrams and specifications.
• Able to create costing estimates from written and verbal specifications obtained from superior or project personnel.
• Work closely with engineering department to ensure coordination design effort is maintained.
• Prepare Schedule of Rate (SoR) and Technical Data Sheet.
• Check estimates for completeness and accuracy, maintain all revisions of estimate costings.
• Input and file documents accordingly to document control system.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior.

Requirements:

• ITE graduate in engineering field or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or working experience in a similar capacity.
• Must be able to read single-line drawings (electrical).
• In-house training provided for costing skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Independent and self-motivated.
• Able to work under tight schedule and beyond contractual working hours if required.
