Evaluation Engineer (Tuas)

Department: QC Department

Report to: QC Dept Manager

Functional Relationships with:

To support Evaluation section leader and work closely with a team of technicians, assistant engineer, and engineer to ensure smooth operation of test laboratory and product safety evaluation to achieve new model introduction qualification.

POSITION PROFILE: 

Based in: Singapore

Job site: Tuas
The successful candidate will collaborate and participate in operation improvement activities with operation members

KEYDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execution of product testing in development and qualification stage

• Design and develop test cases and procedures based on standard & requirements

• Review SOP in operation and perform risk assessments

• Configure, maintain and manage equipment server network

• Lead in cycle time reduction, cost reduction, equipment automation activities

• Lab operations in equipment maintenance and inventory

• Develop training program/materials for assistant engineer and technician to understand test procedure and requirement

• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

ABILITY/COMPETENCY REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Electrical / Computer engineering or equivalent.

• Diploma holder in Electronics / Electrical engineering or equivalent with relevant experiences.

• Good capability in designing/developing effective test cases based on requirements and creating traceability between requirements and test procedures.

• Standardization and streamline in test operation / procedure.

• Experiences in International regulation requirement in lithium battery.

• Able to work independently with minimum supervision on a tight schedule.

• Knowledge of Visual basic application /RPA / Power BI/ computer network will be an advantage.
