Exchange Server Support Engineer (On-Premises)

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy hands-on technical operations, troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues, and driving automation initiatives within mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory environments.
• Ensure availability, performance, security, and integrity of messaging services.
• Administer user accounts, access controls, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
• Support incident, problem, change, configuration, backup, patch, and vulnerability management activities.
• Assess and implement service requests and change requests.
• Perform upgrades, migrations, patching, and platform maintenance.
• Monitor system health, capacity, performance, and availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Develop scripts and automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain technical documentation, system diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, engineering, and application teams to enhance platform performance and reliability.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and improvements.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting Microsoft Exchange environments.
• Experience managing large-scale enterprise environments with 5,000+ mailboxes.
• Strong knowledge of:Microsoft Exchange Server (On-Premises)Active DirectoryGroup Policy (GPO)Windows Server Administration
• Hands-on scripting experience in PowerShell, Shell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience in incident, problem, change, and configuration management processes.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
• Equivalent Microsoft infrastructure certifications
