Failure Analysis Technician (Bedok/Electronics MFG)

This role involves investigating product failures, conducting root cause analysis, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Perform systematic failure analysis on electronic components, assemblies, and systems using various analytical techniques and equipment.

• Conduct physical, electrical, and chemical tests to identify failure modes and root causes.

• Document findings through detailed technical reports, photographs, and data analysis.

• Provide feedback to Engineer for investigation and report compilation.

• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure calibration standards are met.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electronics Engineering, Materials Science, or related technical field

• Prefer 2 years of experience in failure analysis, quality control, or laboratory testing environment

• Proficiency with analytical tools such as optical microscopes, X-ray systems, and electrical test equipment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills to present technical findings to cross-functional teams.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
