Farm Technician

Job Description

- Monitoring, maintaining and improving the health and productivity of crops

- Yield optimization

- System maintenance (crops grow)

- Control run/trial and investigation

- Process mapping to achieve sustainability andrepeatability

- Data collection and analysis, Macro/Micro CEA inclusive

- Production operating supplies AOS and management, growmedia inclusive

- Report formation to facilitate problem solving anddecision making

- Assist harvest line during peak cycle

Assist farm manager to achieve

1) Increase gross weight per cage

2) Increase number of turns per cage

3) Loss rate reduction

Job Requirements

• Diploma, Higher NITEC, or Degree in Agriculture, Biotechnology, Engineering, or related fields.
• Relevant experience in farming, Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA), or crop production is an advantage.
• Basic computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Excel and Word).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work in a farm/production environment and support harvest operations when required.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Training will be provided for suitable candidates.
