Field Engineer (Transmission & FBB Operations)

About the role:

This role focuses on assisting your team members in deploying, implementing, and maintaining transmission network equipment.

The key duties and responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):

·      Deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain transmissionnetwork equipment and fibre broadband systems

·      Install and configure network devices and relatedservices

·      Perform routine and corrective maintenance toensure optimal network performance

·      Diagnose and resolve network faults in a timelymanner

·      Support project implementation and dailyoperational activities

·      Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internalteams

·      Provide both onsite and remote technical support

·      Assist stakeholders with ad hoc technical requests

·      Participate in scheduled night work and 24/7standby rotation when required

The candidate should possess the below qualities to fulfil the needs of the role:

·       Basicunderstanding of telecommunication systems

·       Familiarity withconsumer and enterprise networking equipment is an advantage

·       Fibre opticsexperience is highly preferred

·       Strongproblem-solving skills with a hands-on approach

·       Goodcommunication and interpersonal skills

·       Responsible,responsive, and able to work independently as well as in a team

·       Willingness to learn and grow within the organization

·       Class 3 driving license is preferred
