Field Service Engineer

A Laser Engineer designs, develops, and maintains laser systems across industries like semiconductors, medical devices, and precision engineering. The role requires strong expertise in optics, photonics, and engineering, with responsibilities ranging from system design and testing to troubleshooting and safety compliance.
Design & Development

Create and optimize laser systems (solid-state, fiber, diode, or gas-based).

• Use CAD and optical simulation tools (e.g., Zemax, LASCAD).

Testing & Evaluation

• Conduct experiments to measure output power, wavelength stability, beam quality, and pulse duration.

• Perform laser alignment, calibration, and performance optimization.

Troubleshooting & Support

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues in laser systems.

• Provide technical support and training for personnel.

Safety & Compliance

• Develop and enforce laser safety protocols.

• Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
