Field Service Engineer

• Position : Field Service Engineer
• Location : Kallang
• Working hours : 5 Days Work Week – Monday to Friday: 9.00 AM to 5.30 PM
• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $5,300 Basic + Transport Allowance + AWS + Performance Bonus + 14 Days Annual Leave + Medical and Dental benefits + Insurance
• Duration : Permanent

Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of scientific/analytical instruments.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
• Diagnose technical issues and escalate complex cases when required.
• Conduct product training and provide basic application support to customers.
• Prepare service reports, documentation and compliance records accurately.
• Coordinate with internal teams, principals and regional stakeholders to ensure timely service delivery.
• Support continuous improvement in service quality, workflow and customer satisfaction.
• Keep updated on product knowledge, technical developments and safety requirements.
• Travel locally and overseas to support regional customers when required.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering, Instrumentation/Controls or equivalent.
• Experience with analytical/scientific instruments such as Particle Size Analyzers, XRF, spectroscopy systems and/or ICP spectrometers will be an advantage.
• Minimum 4 years of field service experience in scientific/analytical instrumentation.
• No experience welcome too, training will be provided.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Able to work independently with good planning and time management skills.
• Good documentation, safety awareness and communication skills.
• Willing to travel locally and overseas; own transport preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients who can converse in Mandarin only
