Field Service Technician

Responsibilities:

• Investigate and resolve customer complaints and product failures in a timely and professional manner
• Provide after-sales technical support, troubleshooting, and on-site service to distributors and end customers
• Perform installation, commissioning, and on-site training in accordance with project scope
• Review and support the processing of warranty claims from a technical perspective
• Provide standby support for customer assistance
• Support a wide range of diesel generator sets, from small to large capacity, including service and technical training
• Conduct technical training for distributors and dealers to enhance service and troubleshooting capabilities
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and well-organized technical and training documentation
• Work closely with key customers to ensure issues are followed through until full resolution
• Provide technical assistance during factory testing for special projects
• Investigate root causes of technical failures and recommend corrective actions

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in technical service, after-sales support, or related roles
• Strong customer service orientation and enthusiasm for power generation products
• Prior experience with diesel engines such as MHI, MTU, John Deere, or Volvo is an added advantage
