Job Summary

We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. You’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment at client sites, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Install mechanical and electrical systems at client sites to ensure operational readiness
• Inspect and repair industrial machinery, including steel strapping and pallet handling equipment, to maintain functionality
• Perform routine maintenance and respond to emergency service calls to minimize downtime
• Diagnose technical issues using knowledge of PLCs, sensors, and related systems to provide effective solutions
• Document service activities and maintain accurate records for client and internal use
• Communicate clearly with clients to explain repairs and recommend preventive maintenance measures
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction

Required competencies and certifications

• NITEC, Diploma, or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in field service or technical support roles
• Proficient knowledge of PLCs, sensors, and industrial machinery operation and troubleshooting
• Valid driver’s license with willingness to travel locally and overseas

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience working independently and managing time effectively in field service environments
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin or Malay is advantageous
• Prior experience specifically with PLC systems
