Job Title: Fitter

Salary Range: $1500 - $2200 per month

Reporting to: Production Manager

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in fit-up and assembly work for piping, pressure vessels and heat exchangers .
• Experience in a fabrication workshop environment is preferred.

Required Skills and Responsibilities

• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and perform marking according to cutting plans and engineering drawings.
• Ability to perform cutting operations on carbon steel and stainless steel materials.
• Ability to carry out nozzle orientation marking on pressure vessel shells for preparation of nozzle openings as per drawings.
• Ability to perform fit-up work for:

1. Piping Joints
2. Pressure vessel shell longitudinal and circumferential joints
3. Nozzle flange-to-pipe connections
4. Nozzle-to-shell connections

• Ability to conduct hydrostatic and pnueumatic pressure tests on piping systems, pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
• Familiarity with fabrication tolerances, workshop safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team to meet production schedules.
