Fleet Planning Executive

Responsibilities

• Asset service level and operational availability: Maintain high vehicle and equipment availability through maintenance contract management and fleet data analysis
• Data Accuracy & Quality Assurance: Ensure the high availability and data accuracy of the IoT systems on the waste management vehicles/equipment by working closely with the ALBA Technology team.
• Optimise & Maintain Reporting Tools: Assist in optimising and maintaining data dashboards that provide real-time insights into operational performance.
• Innovation and proof of concepts: To co-lead feasibility studies and use cases for IT technologies in the waste management context (e.g. AI, 3D printing, IoT, robotics) and conduct necessary trials
• Cross team collaboration: Coordinate with operations, sales, project development, safety and technology team to drive business excellence
• Improvement through technology: Lead company technology implementations with operations to achieve better data management and operation efficiency

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a maintenance/ planning role in the environmental service, logistic or manufacturing industry
• Experience in the Waste Management Industry particularly in the area of Waste Logistics is a plus
• Class 4 driving experience is a plus
• Diploma/ Nitec in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Business, or a related field. • Strong analytical skills, with experience in contract management and operational planning.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Power Platform.
• Understanding of zero waste and net zero strategies
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present findings clearly.
• Interest in sustainability and environmental impact, with a willingness to learn and contribute to global sustainability efforts
