GRINDING MACHINIST

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain precision grinding machines.
• Perform surfaces / profile grinding and check wheel balancing.
• Read, interpret and review drawings and specifications, computing dimensions and tolerances and verify machined parts conform to specifications.
• Check finished parts before proceeding to the next manufacturing process/department.
• Able to meet daily production targets.
• Carry out 5S standards, proper housekeeping and maintenance of all the machines assigned on a daily basis.
• Ensure general workplace safety.

Job Requirements:

• NITEC in Precision Engineering or equivalent
• With at least 2 years relevant working experience in operating Grinding Machines
• Good knowledge in Milling and Grinding machines, GD&T
• Independent and able to work under a fast pace environment
