Key Responsibilities:
· Responsible for full-cycle hardware development for optical communication systems, including schematic design, component selection, BOM management, and PCB layout review.
· Perform hardware bring-up and debugging of optical modules and boards, focusing on signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI).
· Use lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, BERT, load boards, and optical power meters to validate high-speed interfaces (SerDes, 10G/25G/100G+).
· Support bring-up of evaluation boards (EVB) and validation platforms including power, thermal, and functional testing.
· Collaborate with DSP, system, and validation teams for link bring-up and performance tuning.
· Generate debug reports, test data, and ensure proper documentation for production readiness.
· Support manufacturing and FAE teams to resolve hardware issues and ensure product quality.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Communications, Photonics or related fields.
· 3+ years of experience in hardware development (strong fresh graduates may be considered).
· Strong foundation in analog and digital electronics.
