Hardware Test Engineer

Job Summary

You will lead hardware testing activities focusing on EMI/EMC compliance, develop and execute test plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve product anomalies and ensure quality performance within project timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and write detailed test plans to guide hardware testing activities for product validation.
• Execute EMI/EMC tests to verify hardware compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
• Perform hands-on testing using oscilloscopes, analyzers, and other diagnostic equipment to evaluate hardware performance.
• Analyze and resolve field and customer-reported hardware anomalies to improve product reliability.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to meet project targets within defined time, cost, and quality constraints.
• Apply knowledge of analog and digital circuit design to support effective hardware testing and troubleshooting.
• Communicate test results and technical findings clearly through written reports and oral presentations.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5-7 years of experience in hardware testing, specifically EMI/EMC testing.
