HSE Officer- BioPharma- 6 months contract

We are currently looking for HSE Officers to join us on a permanent basis to help us deliver various projects.

Key Responsibilities/Attributes:

• Must be a registered Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer
• Ensure compliance with EHS regulations, company policies, and industry best practices across site operations and projects.
• Conduct daily site safety supervision and monitor contractor activities to ensure safe execution of work.
• Review and approve Job Safety Analyses (JSA), risk assessments, method statements, and permit-to-work applications.
• Issue and manage work permits for high-risk activities including work at height, hot work, welding, and confined space entry.
• Deliver safety inductions, training sessions, toolbox talks, and contractor briefings as required.
• Conduct Gemba walks, EHS audits, and inspections to identify hazards, compliance gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain EHS documentation, hazard registers, reports, and compliance records, ensuring timely closure of action items.
• Support brownfield projects by integrating EHS requirements into project planning and execution.
