Hydraulic Engineer

Design, develop, and improve hydraulic systems, circuits, components, and equipment.

Review technical drawings, hydraulic schematics, specifications, and operational requirements.

Conduct hydraulic system calculations, including pressure, flow rate, load, temperature, and capacity requirements.

Select suitable hydraulic components such as pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, filters, motors, accumulators, and fittings.

Prepare hydraulic circuit diagrams, technical drawings, material lists, and project documentation.

Supervise the installation, assembly, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of hydraulic equipment.

Diagnose hydraulic faults, leaks, pressure issues, overheating, contamination, and system failures.

Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, servicing, and repairs on hydraulic systems.

Coordinate with project teams, technicians, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients on technical requirements.

Provide technical support and guidance to service technicians and site personnel.

Conduct site inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and performance evaluations.

Prepare service reports, maintenance records, test reports, and technical recommendations.

Ensure all hydraulic works comply with approved drawings, manufacturer requirements, company procedures, and safety regulations.

Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, energy efficiency, and maintenance practices.

Support the preparation of technical proposals, quotations, cost estimates, and project schedules where required.

Maintain proper records of equipment history, spare parts, repairs, and maintenance activities.
