Junior Design Engineer (HVAC / Marine & Offshore) - Up to $4200

• Position: Junior Design Engineer (HVAC / Marine & Offshore)
• Location: Pasir Panjang - walking distance from Pasir Panjang MRT
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 6.00pm
• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $4,200 (commensurate with experience) + Bonus
• Duration : Permanent
• Industry: Marine & Offshore / HVAC Engineering

Main Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of HVAC systems including air conditioning, ventilation, ducting, piping, and associated systems
• Assist in preparing engineering drawings, layouts, schematics, and technical documentation
• Perform engineering calculations, equipment sizing, and system selection under guidance
• Support project execution activities and monitor engineering deliverables
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, automation, and piping disciplines
• Participate in technical discussions with customers, suppliers, and project stakeholders
• Assist with procurement activities including supplier evaluations and technical specifications
• Support installation, testing, commissioning, and system validation activities when required
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Candidates with internship experience in HVAC, M&E, building services, industrial, manufacturing, marine, or engineering environments are encouraged to apply
• Basic understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and engineering principles
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong willingness to learn and develop technical expertise
• Good communication and teamwork skills
