Job Description - Key Account Manager (Workplace products)

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and acquire corporate accounts within the Singapore market.

  • Consistently achieve targeted acquisition goals in terms of both the number and value of new customers from an assigned prospect list.

  • Promote and communicate the company’s value proposition, ensuring customers have a comprehensive understanding of available products, services, and capabilities.

  • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, proposal and bid presentations, negotiations, and deal closure.

  • Oversee the onboarding of new accounts, including customer training and coordination with internal departments such as Replenishment, Finance, and Customer Service.

  • Coordinate special sourcing requests from customers in accordance with company policies and procedures.

  • Manage pricing strategies and profit margins to support business objectives.

  • Track sales activities, maintain accurate CRM records, and provide updates on opportunities, pipeline status, and sales progress.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Customer Service, Logistics, and Marketing, to deliver high-quality service and tailored customer solutions.

  • Work closely with the International Account Manager to ensure compliance with global tender requirements and contractual agreements.

  • Support customers in digitizing their order-to-pay processes through the company’s e-solutions.

  • Undertake additional duties and assignments as reasonably requested by management.

Requirements

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong project management capabilities.

  • Results-driven and goal-oriented, with a positive attitude and strong self-discipline.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and persuasion skills.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in B2B sales or service-based sales managing corporate account portfolios.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required.

  • Possession of a valid driving license is an advantage.
