Lab Technician / Test Engineer

JobSummary

We are seeking a hands-on Lab Technician / Test Engineer to join our LabTech Group, supporting hardware validation and testing activities for networking products. The successful candidate will work closely with hardware, mechanical, and system engineers to set up test environments, execute validation test plans, and ensure product quality prior to shipment. This role is ideal for a fresh graduate with a strong interest in electronics, lab measurement work, and product validation engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Test Setup & Execution

•    Setup prototypes, test equipment, and fixtures; perform validation tests in accordance with defined test plans

•    Perform board-level digital, power, and system-level measurements as specified in test plans

•    Upload and log test data accurately into the test data portal/database

•    Run margin tests in thermal chambers to evaluate product performance under varying temperature conditions

•    Perform thermal profiling tests under the guidance and instruction of mechanical engineers

Functional & System Testing

•    Verify board and system functionality prior to shipment to local and overseas test facilities

•    Conduct system fault testing, PSU-system related testing, and communication link testing (I2C/SPI)

•    Perform HiPot and Surge testing in accordance with safety and compliance requirements

Product & Prototype Support

•    Upgrade product firmware/code and system recipes as required

•    Perform board-level recovery and rework (component-level troubleshooting and repair)

•    Draw components/prototypes from inventory and distribute prototypes and accessories to relevant user groups within the project team

Team Collaboration

•    Act as an active member of the LabTech Group, supporting fellow team members during periods of high workload or resource load-balancing needs

•    Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams (hardware, firmware, mechanical) to ensure smooth test execution
