Maintenance Engineer (Plating Line Equipment)

• Basic: $3800 - $5000

• Mon – Fri: 7.45am – 5.45pm

• Location: Joo Koon - Lok Yang

Job Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plating line equipment, including rectifiers, tanks, pumps, filters, heaters, chillers, and related systems.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system faults.

• Ensure quick recovery during equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.

• Monitor equipment performance and implement reliability improvement initiatives.

• Identify and maintain critical spare parts to support maintenance needs.

• Coordinate with suppliers for replacement parts, servicing, and technical support.

• Support installation, commissioning, and upgrading of new plating lines or equipment.

• Participate in process improvement and maintenance-related projects.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills in both electrical and mechanical systems.

• Knowledge of plating processes will be an advantage.

• Familiar with PLC systems and automation.
