🚆 Maintenance Engineer (Vehicle) – 2 Years Contract (Convertible Opportunity)

📍 Location: Changi
🕒 Shift Pattern: 12-Hour Rotating Shift
• 2 Days Work → 2 Days Off → 2 Nights Work → 2 Days Off
💰 Salary: Up to $8,000 + AWS + Variable Bonus

Join a high-profile transportation engineering project supporting the operations and maintenance of an automated people mover system at Changi.

This role is ideal for engineers with strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience in vehicle systems, rolling stock, or transportation engineering environments.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Systems Maintenance & Troubleshooting
• Perform maintenance, fault diagnosis, and rectification for critical rolling stock systems
• Handle traction and propulsion systems including Traction Motors, VVVF Inverters, and Auxiliary Power Supplies (APS)
• Maintain braking and safety systems including Pneumatic/Hydraulic Brakes, Parking Brakes, and Door Control Units (DCU)
• Inspect and repair mechanical components such as Bogies, Couplers, Suspension Systems, Current Collectors, doors, windows, seats, air-conditioning systems, signage, and communication devices

📋 Quality, Safety & Compliance
• Prepare and review preventive maintenance schedules, technical procedures, and overhaul checklists
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, technical standards, and quality requirements
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to improve reliability and reduce system failures

📦 Asset & Operational Management
• Monitor spare parts and consumables to ensure operational readiness
• Execute maintenance activities within strict engineering windows to maximise fleet availability
• Support rapid-response troubleshooting during service disruptions and operational incidents

🤝 Stakeholder Coordination
• Work closely with project teams, design offices, technicians, and vendors
• Liaise with external stakeholders, auditors, and technical partners on engineering matters
