Management Trainee

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and proactive individual to join our team. The successful candidate will support the team and learn to manage export sales activities, customer relationships, and international business operations while gaining valuable exposure to global markets and trade practices.

What you will learn -

• Assist in managing and developing export customer accounts and overseas distributors.
• Support export sales activities to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
• Coordinate export orders and ensure timely processing and delivery of shipments.
• Liaise with customers, freight forwarders, suppliers, and internal departments on export-related matters.
• Conduct market research and analyse market trends, pricing, and competitor activities.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, sales reports, and export documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock availability to support customer requirements.
• Handle customer enquiries and provide timely support to overseas customers.
• Support accounts receivable follow-up and collection activities.
• Prepare reports and business analyses for Management review.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Degree in Business, International Business, Marketing or related disciplines.
• Able to communicate and understand Chinese as require liaising with our Chinese business counterparts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and willing to learn.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel when required.
