Manager, Industrial Engineering & Planning (Wafer Fab)

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day leadership, mentorship, and coaching to a team of industrial engineers in executing capacity and productivity initiatives.

• Own the factory's long-term capacity roadmap and productivity planning. Perform meticulous capacity scenario analyses to identify performance gaps and forecast future capital expenditure (Capex) needs.

• Liaise directly with factory production planning and executive management to coordinate tactical factory loading commitments and resolve output constraints.

• Benchmark operations against best-in-class fabs worldwide. Implement Best Known Methods (BKMs) to continuously enhance bottleneck management, line balancing, cycle time, and WIP control.

• Drive gap closure to reach committed long-term growth plans, translating complex operations data into actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, with strong, direct exposure to wafer fab operations.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership/managerial role managing engineering teams.

• Proven success in capacity planning, Capex management, line balancing, cost modeling, and productivity optimization inside a fab environment.

• Highly analytical with a data-driven mindset. Proficient in data analysis tools and software (e.g., JMP, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and MES environments like PROMIS/SiView).

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder-influencing capabilities. High adaptability and accountability in a high-pressure, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
