MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

Manufacturing Engineers (Assembly & Packing) work under the supervision of the Production Manager. They are responsible for Metal Parts Assembly, Visual quality checks before packing, correct labelling against DO or INVOICE. Control manpower within the assembly team. Plan & execution of work is the main duties and tasks. Ensure all goods ready to ship at least 2 weeks ahead of schedule.

Roles & Responsibilities

·        Distribute daily work tasks (Job Orders) and targets to department. Ensuring staff knows what’s job of the day.

·        Perform man power schedule and record man hours plan and used daily.

·        Prepare capacity plan vs actual weekly. And present it during team meeting (Weekly)

·        Preparation and ensure all materials are ready for continuity of job. Eg-Packing materials, pallets, accessories etc. Early request of packaging required materials 1 month ahead.

·        Liaise with other departments for next stage of job processes.

·        Develop fast and quick check methods ensuring quantity and parts number is correct.

·        Daily update of materials pack status via MPS and ready to ship without delay.

·        Develop Work flow for different project with guides / work instruction / process control plan.

·        Resolve Technical issue immediately independently..

·        Maintain all packing equipment in top working condition by scheduling all maintenance needs, repair and applying 5S in production floor.

·        Duties assign by immediate Superior.

Requirements.

·        3 years experience in Assembly and packing environments in fast moving paste.

·        Ability to control manpower & execution of  jobs evenly ensuring delivery meets dateline.

·        Knowledge to resolve production manufacturing conflicts. (Give solutions when production staff faces problem in production process.)

·        Update of daily production out-put to Superior.
