Job Description:
• Perform installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of marine hydraulic and automation systems onboard vessels and at shipyards.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance for Tank Level Gauging Systems, Fixed Gas Detection Systems, Vapour Emission Control Systems (VECS), Water Ingress Alarm Systems, Tank Overfill Alarm Systems, and Ballast Water Treatment Systems (BWTS).
• Diagnose system faults and perform root cause analysis to minimize equipment downtime.
• Calibrate and test sensors.
• Interpret hydraulic schematics, technical drawings, and control system diagrams.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation.
• Provide technical support and recommendations to customers and vessel crews.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
• Attend emergency breakdowns and support on-call service activities when required.
Job Requirements:
• Experience in marine hydraulic systems and marine automation equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Knowledge of hydraulic circuits, pumps, valves, actuators, and control systems.
• Familiarity with tank gauging, gas detection, alarm monitoring, and BWTS systems is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Good communication and report-writing skills.
• Willing to travel onboard vessels, offshore facilities, and shipyards
