Mechanical Design Engineer (Automotive) / Structural Design Engineer (Metal)

Key Responsibilities

• Define and manage vehicle configurations across multiple product variants.

• Design, develop, and improve mechanical and automotive systems.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical and software engineering teams.

• Conduct simulations and analyses to verify and validate design performance.

• Build and evaluate mock-ups/prototypes to collect data, assess functionality, and enhance designs.

• Participate in design review activities with internal and external stakeholders.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation covering design activities, test outcomes, and compliance with contractual and regulatory standards.

• Provide technical support to manufacturing teams to facilitate production and resolve design-related issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.

• Solid knowledge of vehicle systems, product variant management, and BOM structures.

• Proficient in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) and familiar with engineering simulation tools such as FEA and CFD.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on practical and innovative engineering solutions.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Detail-oriented, results-driven, and committed to engineering quality, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
