Mechanical Engineer

Sales-Capture

·       Engage in pre-tender andpre-sales activities to propose and communicate solutions to internal andexternal customers

·       Developdesigns to integrate LV switchboard with variousequipment like Medium Voltage/Transformer/Busduct as a complete solution.

·       Submit technical proposals tofeature designs, calculations, bill of materials, drawings, catalogues

Product Development

·       Design and develop detail mechanical structures for LVswitchboards using 2D and 3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) toachieve material optimization, standardization and ease of production

·       Propose new innovations to improve productsperformance, production efficiency and costs of production.

·       Ensure designs comply with relevant standards (e.g.,IEC 61439, UL 891) and internal engineering specifications.

·       Engage in product verifications by test and calculationto achieve and maintain product quality conformance

·       Select andintegrate mechanical components such as enclosures, busbar systems, hinges, andfasteners.

Production and Project Execution

·       Prepare andmaintain Bill of Materials (BOM), detailed drawings, and technicaldocumentation.

·       Work closely withelectrical engineers to ensure mechanical and electrical integration.

·       Supportproduction and assembly teams by resolving technical issues and optimizingdesign for manufacturability (DFM).

·       Collaborate withsuppliers and procurement teams to source appropriate materials and components.

·       Conduct designreviews, risk assessments, and quality checks throughout the product lifecycle.

·       Provide technicalsupport during testing, commissioning, and customer inspection processes.
