Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support and enhance manufacturing operations within a precision engineering and medical manufacturing environment. This role offers the opportunity to work on equipment optimization, process improvements, new product introductions, and technical troubleshooting while contributing to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, qualify, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment.

• Develop, document, and implement standard operating procedures and work instructions.

• Support production operations by ensuring equipment readiness and minimizing downtime.

• Perform equipment changeovers and process optimization activities to improve productivity.

• Manage and execute preventive maintenance programs.

• Collaborate with production teams to improve manufacturing efficiency and equipment reliability.

• Support the development and production of prototypes and sample lots.

• Work closely with engineering and R&D teams on new product introduction activities.

• Troubleshoot manufacturing processes and equipment-related issues.

• Monitor spare parts inventory and ensure critical components are available.

• Provide technical support to satellite manufacturing sites when required.

• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and process qualification records.

• Supervise and guide technicians, ensuring proper training and performance standards are maintained.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and other assigned projects.

Requirements

• Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least 4 years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience.

• Experience in machine installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

• Knowledge of machine automation and PLC systems.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments will be an advantage.
