Mobile Developer / Software Engineer (Android/Kotlin)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin
• Design and build modern, responsive user interfaces using Jetpack Compose and Android UI frameworks
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code aligned with best practices
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate RESTful APIs and services
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance and reliability
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, including automated builds and testing
• Perform unit testing, UI testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Continuously enhance application quality through monitoring, feedback, and iterative improvements
• Document technical designs, system architecture, and implementation details

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in Android development using Kotlin
• Strong understanding of Kotlin fundamentals, including coroutines, flows, and null safety
• Experience with Android Jetpack components (e.g. ViewModel, LiveData/Flow, Navigation)
• Familiarity with Jetpack Compose or modern Android UI development
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with JSON data
• Knowledge of Git and version control practices
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
• Exposure to DevOps practices is a plus
• Hands-on mindset with a passion for programming
• Strong ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Customer-focused with a proactive, can-do attitude
• Collaborative team player with a willingness to learn and grow
