Monozukuri Engineer (Yishun)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Department: Monozukuri Engineering

Reports to: Monozukuri Engineering Manager

Functional relationships: MLCC Production, Machine design, Machine fabrication in ASEAN

POSITION PROFILE:

This position is to make machine improvements though machine design and to manage machine fabrication qualities so that it could match with Japan HQ specification

Provide machine technical support for ASEAN factory to improve ASEAN production capability

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Machine technical support for ASEAN region

• Provide onsite support for ASEAN region factory

• Machine fabrication in ASEAN region

• Provide support for fabricated related issue at vendor site

• Ensure fabricated machinery are delivered on time by rectify the issue in a timely manner

• Manage and ensure fabricated machinery quality match with MMC requirement issue to prevent machinery outflow

• Propose improvement plan to improve ASEAN factory machinery capability and expansion to another ASEAN factory

• Perform mechanical design to improve machinery in term of quality, cost and safety

• Initiate periodical meetings with Japan and factory stack holder to update the fabrication progress

Ability/Competency required:

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in mechanical, electrical or software related field.

• At least 5 years and above of working experiences in electronic components manufacturing industry.

• To have deep & specialized technical knowledge in electrical sorting process and to be able to fully utilize it in actual job for improvement.

• To be able to travel to ASEAN in short notice period.

• Proficiency communication skills to support communication with other oversea affiliate with others oversea affiliate.

• Having logical thinking and being meticulous with good attention to details.

• Dedicated team player with strong job commitment.

• Having proactive attitude and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
