Introduction

GF is looking for multiple leaders with in-depth technical and process improvement knowledge to join the UMD team. These technical experts are including Litho scanner, Litho track, Etch, Diffusion, Thin Film and Clean Tech. The primary job responsibilities will be driving new process development and transfer in the module mentioned above, to lead process and yield/defect density improvement, and to provide technical leadership by guiding and coaching the team.

Your Job

• Dedicated for process development and improvement, to off-load most technical responsibilities from module managers and provide training to young talents.
• In charge of new process development and transfer in each module.
• Lead process improvement, include yield/defect density improvement in each module
• Provide technical leadership, guide and coach the process team in each module
• Shows mastery and breadth of a technical discipline and is recognized within Company as an emerging key authority in his/her field.
• Contributes to advances of the state of the art and the company’s technical position.
• Solves problems requiring cutting edge approaches, establishes and teaches problem solving methodologies and champions innovation across the organization.
• Leading inventor on several patents.
• First author on several publications with some citations.
• Leads multidisciplinary projects or initiatives with high impact on the company’s success.
• Coaches and mentors experienced staff.
• Leads cross-functional teams across sites.

Required Qualifications:

• PhD/Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in wafer fabrication industry.
• Broad and deep knowledge of technologies & contribution to market deployment strategy and customer acceptance.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good analytical and project management skills
