Network Engineer (CCIE)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engineering, deployment, and support services for system and network infrastructure across security-focused projects ranging from small-scale implementations to large enterprise environments.
• Collaborate with solution architects to develop and execute optimal system and network designs in both physical and virtualized infrastructures.
• Serve as the technical escalation point and subject matter expert for system security, network architecture, implementation, and operational issues.
• Lead the deployment of new network and system solutions in partnership with project managers, while engaging and coordinating with customers, telecommunications providers, and technology partners.
• Conduct system and network hardening activities, validate security configurations, and maintain accurate baseline configuration and technical documentation.
• In charge ad-hoc maintenance activities, migrations or disaster recovery
• Involve in compliance and audit activities for enforcement of policies, standards and procedures

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering/Information System/Information Security from a recognized institution with 5 or more years of relevant working experience
• Strong experience in Windows, Linux and Vmware/HyperV systems
• Strong experience in Next-Gen Firewalls, VPN, switching/routing, load balancers and proxies
• Experience in windows server domain environment such as active directory, group policies, DNS/DHCP and SCCM etc.
• Hands-on experience in system and network security-related tasks such as hardening, patching, capacity planning and design
• In-depth knowledge in network and systems security
• Experience in scripting, resource capacity planning and system design will be an added advantage
