Network Services Engineer / Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Provide deployment, operations, and support for cloud infrastructure and network services.
• Troubleshoot cloud-scale and backbone network issues.
• Support software-defined networking (SDN) and related services, including Azure Front Door (AFD), DDoS protection, DNS, ExpressRoute, Traffic Manager, Virtual Networks (VNet), and Load Balancers.
• Participate in standby and after-hours on-call support.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Engineer: Minimum 2 years of experience supporting large-scale data centre environments.
• Senior Engineer/Lead: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in large-scale data centres.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Proven leadership experience is preferred for Lead positions.

Technical Skills

• Programming/Scripting: Kusto, Java, Python, Perl.
• Operating Systems: Linux.
• Networking: SDN, VNet, DNS, ExpressRoute, Traffic Manager, Load Balancer.
• Data Formats: JSON, XML.
• Certifications: CCNP or JNCIP (preferred).
• Experience with network automation and security is an advantage.
