*NEW* Engineering Manager ($12K to $14K) #NJA

The Job:

• Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians, provide technical direction and mentorship to engineering personnel
• Develop departmental goals, KPIs, and performance improvement plans
• Prepare and manage departmental budgets, monitor engineering costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction
• Process & Manufacturing Engineering
• Oversee the development, optimization and validation of manufacturing processes
• Improve product efficiency, yield, quality and equipment utilization
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and process improvement initiatives
• Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for manufacturing issues
• Plan, execute and monitor engineering projects from concept through implementation
• Coordinate cross-functional projects with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Program
• Ensure projects meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements

Position Requirements:

• At least 8 years of engineering experience within precision engineering, minimum 3 years in a leadership role
• Strong understanding of precision manufacturing processes (CNC machining, tooling & fixtures)
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
