Nondestructive Testing Inspector

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled NDT Technician with expertise in Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) to perform inspections on structural components and piping systems in compliance with company procedures and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct NDT inspections using UT (Ultrasonic Testing), MT (Magnetic Particle Testing), PT (Liquid Penetrant Testing), RT (Radiographic Testing), and PAUT on structural and piping components.
• Identify surface defects in weld joints and parent metal areas using PT and MT techniques.
• Perform ultrasonic inspections of welds and corrosion monitoring on pipelines.
• Evaluate corrosion mapping in static equipment, including valves, shell pipes, and other subcomponents.
• Conduct UT, PT, and MT inspections on vessels and heat exchangers.
• Monitor UT scanning on pressure vessels, including lamination checks and weld scanning.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain relevant documentation.

Requirements:

• Certification in NDT (UT, MT, PT, RT & PAUT) as per industry standards (e.g., ASNT, PCN, ISO 9712).
• Hands-on experience in corrosion mapping and ultrasonic testing.
• Ability to interpret inspection results and prepare detailed reports.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, AWS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in working with structural components, piping, pressure vessels, and static equipment.
