Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturer for Semi-Con Industry
• Position Title: NPI Engineer
• Working Location: Loyang
• Working Hours: 5 days (Mon-Fri: 8am-5.30pm)
• Salary Package: Basic $3,000 – $3,800 per month + AWS + VB
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate NPI activities from prototype stage to production readiness.
• Review customer drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
• Liaise with customers and internal teams on technical clarification, project timeline, and production feasibility.
• Prepare and maintain NPI documentation such as process flow, work instructions, BOM, routing, and inspection requirements.
• Coordinate prototype builds, trial runs, first article activities, and sample submission.
• Work with Production, Quality, Engineering, Planning, and Purchasing teams to resolve technical and process issues.
• Support engineering change activities and ensure proper implementation of changes.
• Monitor project progress and escalate risks or delays when necessary.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, cost, delivery, and process efficiency.
• Support ad hoc activities at Seletar when required for Loyang project-related work, including cleanroom-related activities where applicable.

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Precision Engineering, or related discipline.
• Min 1-3 years of relevant experience in NPI, manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or project engineering.
• Experience in precision engineering, CNC machining, aerospace, semiconductor, or related manufacturing environment will be advantageous.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, process planning, tooling, fixtures, and inspection requirements.
• Experience with First Article Inspection, engineering change control, and production documentation will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of GD&T, CMM inspection, or dimensional inspection will be an added advantage.
• Cleanroom exposure will be advantageous.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in Loyang and supporting ad hoc activities at Seletar when required.
