Responsibilities:

The Senior Production Engineer is authorised to carry out full functions in the Production Department:
1. Manage production activities as per the production plan.
2. Qualify production equipment, participate in validation, and maintain relevant records 
accordingly.
3. Work closely with the QA and Logistics Departments to ensure GMP compliance.
4. Manage and maintain facilities to prevent hazards affecting product quality.

Production

1)Production Process

• Pill / Granule Processing
• Liquid Processing
• Filling and Packaging: 1. Pill / Granule, 2. Liquid, 3. Trading Products

2)Management of Production Operation to meet targets, including:

• Planning & schedule including allocation of resources / manpower
• Establish and enforce all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) required

3)Other production activities to ensure product quality and accuracy:

• Perform line clearance before each production batch and at every process change (responsibilities to be shared routinely)
• Verify starting and packaging materials against the Bill of Materials (BOM) upon receipt of each Work Order.
• Ensure batch uniformity and integrity at all stages of production.
• Monitor production yields and carry out reconciliation (back up) to resolve variances 
• promptly.
• Involve in staff training to ensure staffs are appropriately qualified to perform job responsibilities if applicable
• Others including writing, approving and maintenance of documentation (i.e. SOPs, Forms, etc) and effective communication with QA/QC and warehouse personnel for material availability, etc

Facility & Engineering

• Execute equipment qualification plans, perform validations, monitor production output, and conduct reviews as required.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for machine operation and maintenance.
• Maintain an up-to-date equipment master list and perform preventive maintenance and calibration according to schedules.
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance activities do not compromise product quality or safety.
• Assess needs for new machinery and equipment, coordinate procurement, and secure necessary resources.
• Maintain facility cleanliness, ensure disinfection when required, and prevent pests or other animal intrusion.
• Perform environmental monitoring such as temperature monitoring with respective analysis

Technical Review Team Member

1)Conduct reviews and investigations in compliance with the Quality System and GMP requirements, including:

• Perform Batch Record Reviews to ensure compliance and completeness.
• Carry out Product Quality Reviews to evaluate product consistency and performance.
• Investigate deviations and non-conformances and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Other GMP review

Documentation & Miscellaneous

• Prepare, revise and maintain SOPs, ensuring related staff training is completed and documented.
• Maintain valid calibration certificates and coordinate with vendors for scheduled calibration activities.
• Ensure general cleaning is carried out to required standards.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Experience in production, facilities, or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP, SOPs, and quality compliance standards.
• Familiar with equipment maintenance, validation, and production operations.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Able to handle documentation and work in a fast-paced environment.
