PLC Engineer

• Working hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm (Mon to Fri)
  

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, modify and troubleshoot PLC control programs for automation projects.

• Perform PLC software testing, debugging and factory acceptance testing (FAT).

• Assist in system integration, commissioning and site implementation.

• Diagnose and resolve PLC, control system and communication issues.

• Support HMI and SCADA integration with PLC control systems.

• Prepare technical documentation including I/O lists, functional descriptions and testing records.

• Work closely with Project Engineers, System Engineers and customers throughout project execution.

• Provide technical support during system commissioning and handover.

• Participate in system upgrades and enhancement projects.
  

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or related discipline.

• Experience in PLC programming, troubleshooting or automation systems.

• Candidates from manufacturing, production, OEM machine builders or industrial automation environments are welcome to apply.

• Familiar with one or more PLC platforms such as Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron, Schneider, Beckhoff or Delta.

• Basic understanding of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profinet, Profibus or Ethernet/IP will be an advantage.

• Able to interpret electrical drawings, control schematics and I/O wiring diagrams.

• Willing to travel to customer sites for commissioning and project support when required.
