Process Assistant Engineer (Tuas)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Department: Process Engineering

Report to: Section Head of Process Engineering

Functional Relationships with: Equipment Engineering, Yield Engineering, Production, Product Design, Procurement, SQE, VA Engineering

POSITION PROFILE: 

Based in Singapore

Job site: Tuas

The successful candidate will be:            

In-charge and support all process related activities like Process Design, NPI conditioning,

Production Process Debug and Test, Equipment Process, Troubleshooting & Report writing.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process Quality

• Keep Process in Control (Quality & Yield), undertake continuous Process Improvement

• Plan and execute engineering test, and evaluate and report test results

• Process defect analysis and countermeasure

Project Management

• To run project independently or in group.

• Introduce new cell models, process & technologies to the production line.

• Introduce new material(VA/CD) to the production line.

• Ensure project runs smoothly and according to event schedule

Cell Defects Evaluation & Analysis

• To analyse process related defects from the production line/customers

• To co-ordinate improvement/countermeasure for process related problems

• Conduct additional evaluation for abnormal defects

ISO system

• Maintain and update ISO documents

• Perform secondary appointments (e.g. CFT, committees), tasks and projects assigned by direct supervisor/superior.
  

ABILITY/COMPETENCY REQUIRED:

• Positive Attitude is compulsory

• Good Inter-personal skills will be highly preferred

• Diploma in Mechanical /Mechatronics / Manufacturing Engineering

• 2 Years relevant working experience is preferred, fresh graduates will also be welcomed

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel)

• Drafting software proficiency would be valued as good match for job tasks

• Added experience: Analytical Thinking / Problem Solving skills / Statistical skills
