Process Engineer

We are assisting our client in searching for a process engineer.

Job Summary

Lead process optimization and troubleshooting initiatives to enhance production efficiency and safety. Drive project start-ups and equipment checks while championing operational excellence through training and SOP development.

Responsibilities

• Analyze plant processes by taking precise measurements and interpreting data to implement solutions that optimize production safely and cost-effectively
• Troubleshoot process issues, conduct investigations, and implement improvements to enhance operational performance
• Lead project activities including start-up operations and pre-commissioning equipment performance checks to ensure readiness and reliability
• Develop and deliver training programs and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to promote Operations Excellence among production team members.

Requirements:

·       Degree in Chemical Engineering.

·       At least 3 years’ experience in process engineering and working in a chemical plant.

·       Planning and organizing skills, ability to coordinate multiple tasks.

·       Possess a positive attitude, strong desire to learn, good interpersonal skills, analytical mindset, diligent and with a high level of tenacity.

·       Strong Written and verbal communication skills.

·       Ability to persuade others to change existing practices.

·       Strong attention to detail.

·       Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems.

·       Proficient with computer and information technology.

·       Knowledge of process engineering software systems.

·       Familiarity with applicable health and safety regulations.
